Lida Hamber, an 88-year-old artist, resides in Manhattan and has been creating art in various mediums for most of her life. After many years of creating artwork in realism, Impressionism and hard edge, she has found her unique calling — metal collages. She loves the process of finding metal scraps and placing them perfectly to create exciting, modern and organic 3D compositions.
Prior to living in Manhattan, Lida resided on Long Island where she participated in numerous juried exhibitions, such as in Sands Point, Port Washington and Jericho Public Library. Her artwork has also been displayed more recently in some NYC Citibanks and at the Governor Island Sculptures Alliance.
